DR Umut Gokay Emir

Turkish Specialist Endodontist

DDS, MSc, PhD, MClinDent TUR

We are delighted to introduce our newest team member, Umut Gokay Emir. Over the last few months we have been looking for another Specialist to join our team to enhance the care and services that we provide to our patients, whilst maintaining the standards that we set ourselves. In Umut we believe that we have found that person.

Umut is from Turkey and qualified from Istanbul University in 2009, he then subsequently started his PhD and Speciality Training and the same university. As a result of his hard work, he also obtained a MSc degree as well as his PhD in 2015.

During his time becoming a specialist and scientist in Istanbul University he trained many undergraduates and postgraduates and due to the extensive patient footfall Umut had the opportunity to see and treat various cases.

Umut performs a full range of endodontic procedures including surgical solutions if required.

Umut has dedicated his entire career to the field of endodontics since graduation and is currently focused on obtaining his Specialist status on the Specialist List of Endodontics in the UK.

He now spends his clinical time covering a large area of England and Wales treating difficult endodontic cases and from June 2021 we are delighted to have Umut as part of our team.

We, at Cheltenham Endodontics, are a group of dedicated practitioners committed to lifelong learning and constant improvements of clinical skills and practices. Our aim is to help you to help your patients.

When your patient has come to the end of their treatment we will return them to your care. Our reception team will return all original documents (radiographs, CBCT’s, etc) to your practice with a detailed end of treatment letter for your records.
